Preventive health checks are most useful when they are personalized. Age, family history, occupation, sleep, diet, and existing conditions should guide test selection.
Basic annual screening often includes blood counts, sugar levels, lipids, liver and kidney markers, blood pressure, and a physician review.
The most important part is follow-up. A report should lead to a clear next step, not simply a file stored away.
